Getting Started with Pulse Checks

Course Overview:

This course introduces Halo's Pulse Check feature, a lightweight way to put a need out to the market without committing to a full partnering request. Participants will learn how to create and submit a Pulse Check and what to expect from the process once it goes out.

• Understand when to use a Pulse Check versus a full partnering request

• Create a Pulse Check by selecting a need type, describing your question, and setting your preferences

• Choose a readiness level and preferred partner type to focus your results

• Decide whether to post anonymously and understand the trade-offs of doing so

• Review and act on the list of interested innovators Halo sends back, including adding them to your network, messaging them, or saving them for a future request
