How does Halo work?
Halo is like LinkedIn or Glassdoor, but instead of job openings, corporate R&D divisions post areas of interest for research collaborations (ie. Request-For-Proposals) and interested parties (scientists, startups, suppliers, innovators, etc.) submit our simple, standardized proposal form.
The corporate sponsor then reviews the proposals and reaches out directly to the applicant to either learn more or provide feedback. If the two are interested in sharing confidential information or negotiating a collaboration agreement, the conversation moves off of Halo and the process proceeds per usual with any industry collaboration.
